River turbine systems modelling

There are a large number of establishments, both commercial and domestic, on streams and rivers throughout the UK and the world. This presents market potential.

If the cost of the installation is such that the energy payback period is reasonable then the recent movement towards alternative energy will popularise river hydro schemes. After a typical five-year payback period the customer would have non-polluting energy that costs nothing. For a remote farm that currently depends on diesel generators this is a significant financial advantage.
