The device is submerged so it cannot be seen and it only has one moving part so offers exceptional reliability. Our customers will be utility companies. Government pressure means the first sales are likely be around 2011.

Swanturbines will sell complete devices. It will do the RD&D and sales and marketing and our partners will manufacture. We’ll also license maintenance and diversify into site development. The team is an 8 partner consortium led by Swansea University; renowned for world class research. Multinational, CB&I John Brown brings engineering and management from oil and gas. Corus brings offshore steel design.
